Medicine for Dog Arthritis

March 1, 2026

Nox had wanted me to write a post for her a few weeks ago. I was busy and didn’t have time for it.

Nox told me how much Adequan helped her arthritis and wanted me to share the information.

Nox – My left elbow hurt, but not as bad as my right elbow. My right elbow was very bad. It even had a knot that stuck out. It hurt so bad, my DogParents would give me strong medicine to help with the pain. I could barely walk. I limped everywhere. I needed to be carried a lot to avoid the pain.

Then the vet recommended putting me on Adequan. I had to get shots every four days for a month, then once a month.

My left leg stopped hurting entirely. The right leg got better and the knot got smaller.

DogMom said, “Nox, I wish we had known about Adequan sooner. You are walking so much better. These shots aren’t expensive and they are helping you so much.”

While I didn’t like getting shots, I like the results. While I still limped, I can walk a lot farther. I can follow my DogMom and DogDad around in the yard again.

I wanted my DogMom to share this information so other dogs don’t have to suffer from arthritis.

Julia – I have completed Nox’s last wish by posting this.

This is not a paid advertisement, just a story how the medicine helped my best beloved before she passed on.
