I was walking Nox on the dog walk at the bottom of the ridge at Dakota Ridge RV Park.
I took some pictures of flowers blooming along the path.

I felt something crawling on my the back of my neck. I quickly knocked it off and looked to see what it was. It was a ladybug. It was crawling on a grass stalk where I had knocked it. I was glad it seemed unharmed.

Just a few steps later, I felt something crawling on my back just past my neckline of my t-shirt. I thought it was another lady bug at first.
I reached into my shirt from my neckline and I got stung on my back. It was not a lady bug!
I grabbed the beastie and flung it to the ground. The beastie was a European paper wasp. I proceeded to step on it.

Nox wanted to walk around a bit more and then she wanted to be carried home.

Once home, Nox wanted a treat. Since she was a good dog, she got a treat. I put it in one of her toys to give her a bit of a challenge.
I put some After Bite on my sting. I hope it helps!
I hope it isn’t too bad. I am allergic to wasps and it hurts so much!

Luckily, I am not allergic. It hurt when I got stung, but the After Bite seemed to do the trick. It isn’t hurting anymore.
