New Birdbath Bowl

November 3, 2025

On Wednesday (November 3), my new birdbath bowl arrived. I wasn’t able the replace the bowl with a similar one. I really liked the fish. I found this sunflower bowl that is pretty to me. I liked the crushed glass; it looks like water drops. I haven’t put water in it yet to see how the crushed glass looks.

It rained most of the day. Nox enjoyed staying inside.

Watching the Rain!

I worked on “Juneau in Wild Sunflowers”.

My red pineapple is not cold-tolerant at all. The once beautiful plant looks sad now. The little pineapple plant is more than half dead. I look at it and consider cutting off the dead leaves. It didn’t even get down to freezing according to the weather app. It was a learning experience and not a pleasant one. I want a greenhouse!

The leaves of the red pineapple have turned yellow, instead of red.

On Thursday (November 4), Bruce and I went to town and picked up my prescriptions. Bruce drove to the RV to see how the propane was holding out and to check on the temperature inside the RV. One of the 40-gallon tanks was empty. Bruce switched over to the second 40-gallon tank. He removed the empty tank and put it in the truck. He swept the gutters for the last time of the season, since the nearby trees had lost their leaves. It started raining as Bruce swept the gutters.

On the way home, Bruce stopped at the Ace half a mile from the house to get the tank filled. The Ace is strange in that it has a “window” to the liquor store. Bruce popped into the liquor store, put his bottles on the window shelf, and paid for the liquor when he paid for the propane.

It rained most of the day. Nox had to go outside to do her business in the rain. She was not happy.

Finished for the Day

It is interesting to look at a photo of the drawing. It is similar to proofreading. It allows me to see the drawing from a different perspective. I am not so close to it. I can see things that I may not notice while I am drawing. Her back doesn’t look right to me now.

Bruce is doing the “Advent of Code”. There is a coding problem every day up to Christmas. The problems are mostly math-oriented. He taps and drums as he thinks about how to write code. He doesn’t even realize he is doing it. He is so noisy. As I put on earphones and music to cover the noise, I wondered how his co-workers could stand the noise.

    1. Thank you. Since I had a stand, I only looked for bowls. I found my original birdbath at one of the discount stores. I bought the new bowl from Amazon. Amazon has a lot of pretty birdbaths.

Thank you. A dear friend asked me to draw her dog in the 🌻 🌻
