Nox would watch the squirrels in the backyard through the French doors, until she decided that had snuck far enough into her yard. Then, bam! Nox was running full speed out her dog door after the squirrels.
I know people put up short fences around their steps for their dogs, but we’ve helped rescue two dogs after they got out. Because of that the dog fences just don’t seem like a good idea to us.

I saw two squirrels in the woods across the drive today–with the cats eying them closely!
