The weather has been amazing. It’s been cool and pleasant in the 70s and low 80s degrees F.
The FROG (Forest River Owners Group) Rally had food for Sunday night and Monday night. They have breakfast every day this week. Supper is provided Sunday night, Monday night, Wednesday night, and Friday night.
They have golf carts that they call frog hoppers with volunteers that take people around. This is been really useful for me as I’m still trying to stay off my ankle.
Bruce and I went to a seminar yesterday about RV airflow. Here are some pictures I took afterwards.

Bruce has been getting out a lot more than I have. He went to the Riverstone owners group meeting and had a great time.
My ankle started bothering me yesterday after supper. We rode on a frog hopper around the fairgrounds and I got some pictures. The vendors have RVs with special paint jobs.

So today I’m just staying off of my ankle and keeping it elevated, iced with compression.
This morning, Bruce brought breakfast back from the food hall for me.
Nox has been enjoying the cool weather and all the smells. She has been asking for more walks.
The atmosphere is fun and friendly. The RV owners are so welcoming.
We got to pick two items Forest River would work on as part of the rally.
Yesterday, Forest River replaced our inverter, free of charge. They also got the grey tank sensors working. Having the inverter replaced, means we can camp off the grid. It also means the refrigerator will remain cold as we travel, since it can now draw power from the batteries.
Julia,
It sounds as though you’re making good progress both on your ankle and the RV. Congratulations!! Clever name for the owners’ group – but I probably toad you that before111

That is a trailer load of RVs! Love the “toad” sign, too.

There are over 300 RVs here. They did have several cancellations due to the cost of fuel.

I can definitely understand the fuel issue.

Yes, we are trying to stay at least 2 weeks or more at RV spots. Since we were coming to FROG, we had to move more often.

What’s the range of sizes of rigs? Looks like some trailers and some motor homes. If you have a chance to do an essay with photos that answers that question – from the safety (for your ankle) of one of the hoppers…

The smallest travel trailer is about 10 feet long. We are 45 feet long 5th wheel and Forest River doesn’t make anything bigger. The largest class A motor homes are about the same size.
