Nox Doing Nox Things

March 6, 2022 Yesterday, we walked to the close dog park in Red Oaks RV Resort (Bushnell, Florida). We keep her in the small dogs section. Nox loves playing in this park. She finds interesting smells. Later, Nox spread one of her towels out in the middle of the living room. She laid on it […]

Walking Around Red Oaks RV Resort in Bushnell, FL

February 11, 2022 Last night we couldn’t see much of the park in the dark. We did get a bit of a tour when we came in pulling the RV. This morning, we took Nox for a walk. I stopped at the FaBooLus Hair salon and made an appointment for Tuesday. Bruce waited outside with […]

Another Move

February 10, 2022 We had to check out by 11 am from the Paradise Oaks RV Resort. We moved to a nearby park, Red Oaks RV Resort and we have a spot for two weeks. It appears we can extend our stay here if we need to. This morning, before we left Paradise Oaks, I […]

Paradise Oaks RV Resort in Bushnell, FL

February 9, 2022 This is a beautiful park. We were only able to get two nights. We would’ve loved to stay longer. This resort has a beautiful pool, pickle ball courts, a chipping green, shuffle board, billiards, frisbee golf, walking trails, a catch and release fishing pond, and dog play areas. This morning, we took […]

Lovely Weekend

February 7, 2022 We had sunny skies this weekend and while the temperature didn’t get out of the 50’s F, with a jacket, the weather was lovely for walking. The Dry Creek Water Park has several trails for walking. They even have a trail for mountain biking. Bruce laughed at the mountain bike trail. He […]

Settled in Dry Creek Water Park in Mississippi for the Weekend

February 4, 2022 We left in the pouring rain from the Delhi RV Park at just before 9 am. Nox got throughly soaked when I took her out for her morning walk. I got soaked as well. The outside temperature was 34 F, so Nox was shivering. I toweled Nox dry and wrapped her in […]

Poverty Point Reservoir State Park

February 2, 2022 Bruce asked me what I wanted to do today. I only had one suggestion, which was to have have fried catfish at a nearby restaurant. I started looking to see what else was nearby and saw that a large state park was close by. The park had some trails and I thought […]

Rest Day in Delhi

February 2, 2022 The Delhi RV Park is a small RV park. It doesn’t have showers or toilets. They do have a short dog walk. The park backs up to a neighborhood, so we took Nox for a walk around the neighborhood. We ate breakfast at the Delhi Little Grill and Cafe. I found a […]

Sunset at Veranda Inn Campground

January 31, 2022 We pulled into the Veranda Inn Campground, just east of Nocona, TX, right before sunset. This park has long concrete pads with a extra extension for the RV steps. Bruce was rather happy for the $35 a night price. The roads are gravel and the sites are close together. There is not […]
