New Mail Box Installed

We headed over to the house this morning, after taking Nox for a walk.

Nox came with us to the house today.

Bruce wanted towels at the house, so I grabbed a set of towels to bring, as well as soap, shampoo and conditioner.

Nox walked with Bruce and me to the back pasture. We let her stay in the backyard watching us. Bruce finished draining the last half barrel of water and I started pulling up poison ivy. Bruce took Nox back to the house as he headed off to pull poison ivy from the pine trees in front.

I pulled up poison ivy for about an hour or so. Bruce had given up when the poison ivy bounced and hit him the face. We both washed up with Poison Ivy Scrub. Unfortunately, I seem to have gotten some on me and I have a couple of areas breaking out in a rash. Ugh! I will have wear long sleeves to pull the dread poison ivy.

Later in the afternoon, Bruce and I finished putting up the new mailbox. Bruce cut off some of the post and put a bolt through the pounded in spike and the post.

Bruce went to our local Ace to pick up a mailbox mounting board to attach the mailbox to the post. He also picked up numbers to put on each side of the post.

The mailbox does lean a little to the right when facing the front of the mailbox.

Nox had a good nap while we worked.

We sat in our camp chairs and read for a bit at the house.

At 4:30 PM, we decided to head back to the RV. Bruce stopped at the grocery store. I stayed in the idling truck while Bruce shopped for groceries.

We got back to the RV and I am heating up soup for dinner.
