Nox enjoys traveling with us and she is excited when we get to a new campground.
The following items are important to Nox:
- No burs – Nox hates stepping on burs.
- Interesting smells – Nox loves to have lots of interesting things to sniff.
- Fenced play area aka dog park – Nox enjoys a chance to be off the leash.
- Other small dogs – Nox enjoys making friends with other small dogs.
- Walking room – Nox enjoys walking with Bruce and me on hiking trails or around the RV park.
- Grass – Nox enjoys grass. She didn’t like the desert campgrounds of dirt, sand, and gravel. Well, Nox didn’t mind the dirt for walking; she wanted grass to pee on.
- Sidewalks, paved trails, or dirt trails – Nox enjoys walking on sidewalks or other paved trails. She even enjoys walking on dirt. She doesn’t like walking on gravel.
If a campground has burs, Nox gives it a 1 star, because you can’t go lower than that. ⭐️
If a campground has no burs and no grass, she’ll give it 2 stars. ⭐️⭐️
If a campground has no burs and grass, Nox considers it an acceptable campground and gives it 3 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
If a campground has no burs, grass, and walking room, Nox will give it 4 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
To earn 5 stars, the park must meet all 7 of the items Nox listed above. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Maybe you should take Nox to the RV park in Memphis for a rating check before you unhitch. 🙂

That sounds like a plan!

Nox should put those reviews on Google maps for others who might find them useful. Burs are a real pain to deal with.

They really are. Nox hates them and we hate them for Nox as well.

Those requests aren’t to demanding. Good for Nox for standing her ground(s).

I wonder if instead of stars you could use picture emoji to give us a better understanding of NOX’s rating scale so we wouldn’t need to refer back to your comments?

Interesting idea, what type of picture emoji do you suggest?

I am not that good at using them especially in blogs, but a nose for smells, a gate for fenced area, grass for grass, etc?

Oh, I see what you mean. That could be fun. I’ll have to see what type of emoji’s will work.
