West Side of Sand Creek Park

September 18, 2021 Last weekend, Bruce wanted to see where the trail went from the west end of Sand Creek Park, in Aurora, Colorado. From the parking lot, there is a walkway that provides a great overlook for the ponds. I took some pictures of the playground. We hiked on the north side of the […]

Walking Around Sand Creek Park in Aurora, Colorado

September 4, 2021 Yesterday, we drove the 2 miles from the Denver Meadows RV Park to the Sand Creek Park with Nox. We started walking around the park on the wide concrete trails, when we started to get sprinkled on. This put a halt to the planned walk. We headed back to the parking lot […]

Nox Modeling at Sand Creek Park

September 4, 2021 Yesterday, we took Nox on a walk at Sand Creek Park. At the picnic pavilion, there were some large rectangle stones. We put Nox on one and let her model for us. This is a behind the scenes look at the model Nox! She has to recover from all that walking!

Nox with One Ear!

September 4, 2021 Earlier this week, while I was working out of the house, Nox was rolling about in her bed and folded one ear down. She looked like she was missing an ear. I told her to “shake” and she shook her head. The ear popped up and Nox had two ears again. We […]

Fuzzy Wuzzy Was a Nox After a Bath

Bruce washed Nox on Wednesday. After he toweled her dry, her fur sticking out made her look like a fuzzy wuzzy from a children’s story.

Grass Seed That Attacks Nox

July 17, 2021 Here is a picture of the attacking grass seed.

When Grass Seeds Attack

July 16, 2021 On Wednesday, Nox was shaking her head a bit and scratching at her ear. By Thursday, she was shaking her head and scratching at her ear almost constantly. When she wasn’t shaking her head or scratching at her ear, she was walking with her head at a funny angle. Bruce held Nox […]

Update on Nox’s Foot

July 13, 2021 Bruce took Nox to the vet this afternoon. When the vet was examining the red spot on Nox’s food, the vet was pleased to see that it had deflated. She was even more pleased when a sharp grass seed came out of the red spot. The grass seed was what had caused […]
