Gutters Installed Today

Today, a truck pulled up from ICS. They were here to install the gutters we had ordered.

ICS replaced our roof. They did great work, so I was happy to have the do our seamless gutters.

I went out to see if they would need anything. The lead asked for a place to plug in their machine. I opened the garage door so they could plug into one of the outlets in there.

Nox wanted to watch the workmen, so I set up a box at the window for her.

She was comfortable enough on the box, that she snoozed for a bit.

They measured the distance for each roof section, then created the gutter for the roof section.

At some point, Nox decided she would rather sleep in her own bed.

Once the gutters were attached to the fascia, they made holes in the gutters for the downspouts.

I am very pleased with how the gutters and downspouts look.

You might notice that we moved the rocking chairs (the ones Bruce put together) to the front porch. We are going to clean up the salvaged metal table and place it between rocking chairs.

    1. Nox loves looking out windows. She will sit at the sliding glass doors and watch the world go by. Mostly, she’s watching us and wondering why we are out in the cold.

      1. M dad built something like that for Geordie. It was a ramp and a little platform that hooked to the window. It was good until Toby came along. It wasn’t quite big or strong enough for two terriers trying to attack the dogs outside the window. 😆
