Yesterday, my youngest sister stopped by to visit us on the way back from her vacation in Tennessee and Kentucky.
While we weren’t on the direct path to their home in Mississippi, it wasn’t to far out of her way.
We had a great visit. She had a great time seeing the waterfalls in the state parks in Kentucky and Tennessee.
As a surprise, she gave me ripe pawpaw. It smelled wonderful, like a cross between bananas and pineapples. It tasted just as good as it smelled.

It is about 300 miles from here to here to her home. She said if we move here, I should plant apple trees and she’ll come and help me harvest them.
