Today, we rode the motorcycle to Harbor Freight and Bruce picked up a wrench set, as he didn’t have his wench set with us.
This evening, he crawled back under the RV and using the new wrench, he was able to remove the shock.
He came inside with the old shock, used a plastic bag to wrap it and started looking at it. The plastic bag was to stop the shock from getting dirt everywhere.

He started comparing the new parts to the old ones so he could see how it went together.
He took the new top bolt, rubber spacers and other parts along with the new shock to get the top of the shock installed. It is apparently so tight there is no way to really see what he is doing.
He came back in, saying after trying to install the shock, that he needed more light and that he has come up with a plan to try tomorrow.
