The Hip Klip

September 2, 2023

Since I got a request, I’ll tell you about the Hip Klip.

I found the Hip Klip and I am delighted by it! I want to share information about this product for other women who also find women’s clothing don’t have usable pockets and don’t want to carry a purse around.

I am not getting anything for writing about it and while this may may seem like a promotional ad, it is just my personal experience.

I have a large phone that I use to take pictures. I am often taking my phone out and putting it away. It would fall out of my back pocket sometimes. I also carry a wallet, it was not as secure in some of my pants pockets as I would like. I often found it on my seat. I have given up on carrying a purse since I retired. It just isn’t that practical when riding the motorcycle.

I was looking for a small purse I could put my phone in and have it safe while riding the motorcycle. I wanted something that wouldn’t get caught on things and would be easy to get the phone in and out.

I realized I was asking for a lot, but at the Shipshewana Flea Market, there was a stall selling the Hip Klip. After looking it over, I decided it would meet my needs.

It acts as an extra big pocket on one side and with two zippered pockets on the other side, you can put a wallet and some other stuff in the zippered side.

Since I take my phone out a lot, I am putting it in the open pocket. It is so much easier to reach and I no longer have to worry about it falling out of my pocket.

I wear it clipped to my front pocket, across my hip and clipped to my rear pocket. You can wear the Hip Klip clipped to the waistband of cloth pants and leggings.

I am keeping my wallet in the zippered pocket. I can quickly unclip one side of the Hip Klip and get to my wallet. The base of the clips swivel, so I can turn the Hip Kip. It isn’t as fast as getting the wallet out of my pocket, but I don’t need to get to my wallet very often.

I even wore mine climbing, ducking, and squeezing through Seneca Caverns with no problems. (Upcoming post.)
