We made it in last night to the campground. It was just after 8:00 pm. As we turned onto the campground exit, we had a beautiful view of the sunset view on the bridge over I-70.

The work camper came to the office and got us checked in. She gave us a map and directions to our site. There was a large frog on the sidewalk.

The sunset was spectacular as we came around the corner from the office back to the rig.

After we got the RV set up and unhitched from the truck, we took Nox for a walk. Nox discovered another frog.

She was a very good girl and left the frog alone as soon as Bruce said, “Leave it.”
This morning as we decided to go out for breakfast. Bruce discovered ducks behind the RV, when he went to open the garage door.

After the morning and early afternoon out, we came back to the RV and I walked Nox. I took some pictures of the campground.

Nox and I walked over to the pond and watched the ducks. These ducks look like a mixture of mallards and some other type of ducks.

Some general information about this park. Most of the sites are long gravel sites that can take large rigs. They do have a limited number of premium sites that are concrete. We picked a premium site for this stay. The regular sites have picnic tables and grass. The premium sites have a concrete campsite with picnic tables and fire pits. They have full hookups for every site. There is a dog park in the back of the park under trees. They sell propane.
I will write another post about our morning and early afternoon in Ellis, KS.
Julia,
Thanks for the pix, especially the sunsets!
