Living on a Pond?

last night we got a bit of rain. It was raining this morning when we walked from the RV to the office to get breakfast.

This KOA offers a complimentary breakfast you have your choice of oatmeal, grits, biscuits with sausage gravy, waffles or pancakes. The waffles are cute little rounds.

I had the instant oatmeal and Bruce had the biscuits with sausage gravy. He said it was very good.

Once we got back to the RV, it started raining harder with thunder. Nox didn’t like the thunder.

After 40 minutes or so, the rain lighten up. I looked out our door and realized our steps came down to a pond!

Fortunately, with the door wide open, there was a spot I could walk on that wasn’t covered with water. This allowed me to get the road.

Bruce backed the truck out and I climbed in. We are now headed to Jekyll Island to see Bruce’s dad.

    1. This has been the first campground that served a complementary breakfast. You get a choice of one of the food items. They also had orange juice and coffee. You could get both orange juice and coffees.
