Last Saturday, Bruce and I had brunch in Golden at Sassafras. After brunch, we walked around Golden enjoying the lovely flower planters filled with the tulips and daffodils.

Your photos are lovely! I’ve been amazed at the flowers in Colorado. I’m in Texas and we didn’t realize how lush your state is until getting a small cabin in Jefferson. In movies, it’s all mountains and typical Western terrain with the red rocks and dirt. Colorado is a colorful paradise.

We’ve had a lot of rain this year along the front range. The wildflowers have been spectacular this year, as well as the gardens. If you get a chance, you should visit the Denver Botanical Gardens. They are beautiful and the children’s garden is really a lot of fun for kids.
