On September 13 (Saturday), I was out in the garden. I noticed our neighbor’s cows next to the fence. I got Nox so she could see the cows. I held her up and she was so excited to see the cows. The cows wandered off, but Nox hoped that they would come back.

Her patience paid off, when a cow came back where Nox could see her.
Bruce continued to rake up the grass using the leaf sweeper attached to the lawn mower.

We had a lovely sunset and Bruce put out the fire in the burn barrel.

Nice evening. I have a burn pile but no barrel.

We have both. We have a burn pile for large branches and the burn barrel for putting over stumps.

Geordie was like Nox. He loved watching animals. (Geordie would scream when he saw them, though.)
What will you do with the grass? Do you ever use it for mulch?

Nox wants to get to the animals and play with them.
I dumped several wagon loads into the burn pile. The ashes will make great fertilizer and I won’t have to worry about the grass seeds.

Perhaps you should just get Nox her own cow, so she could see it more often and closer! 🐄

If Nox could take care of the cow, then I’d let her have one! 🐕🦺🐄
