I did a brief post on our trip to Florence AL RV Park from the Riverstone factory in Topeka on September 25 to September 26.
I am sharing my pictures of our trip.
We drove from the hotel we stayed in at Goshen, Indiana to the Riverstone factory in Topeka, Indiana.
We put Nox’s bed on the seat and clipped her harness into the seat belt. She loves sleeping in her bed and seems more comfortable. I wish we had figured that out sooner.
We headed to the road at 2:30 PM with the RV hitched to the truck.

We headed to Indianapolis, Indiana, along I-69, stopping at a rest area on the way.

We continued along the ring road around Indianapolis.

Once past Indianapolis, I looked for a place to stay. We stayed at the Columbus Woods-N-Waters Campground again.
The scenery was beautiful on the way to the campground.

We left the campground around 7:15 AM, heading south on I-65.

We continued down I-65 into Kentucky.

Through Kentucky, into Tennessee on I-65, the weather was perfect. We had been worried about Hurricane Helene impacting our drive. We turned off onto the Saturn Parkway and made our way to US 43.

We entered Alabama on US 43, drove to US 72, then took 133 around Florence, Alabama to the Florence AL RV Park.

It was great to get in and parked.
I put Murphy’s bed on the car seat too. You’re right that they seem more comfortable that way.

It just took 3 1/2 years to figure out that Nox’s bed on the seat is more comfortable for her!!!

Very glad you escaped Helene! My heart hurts for all those homes and RVs in the water. All the lives lost. All those with no drinking water!

My heart hurts as well. The videos and pictures of the damage are so heartbreaking. The loss of life is devastating. Water is essential; I hope they can get the utilities back up soon. I know the heroes of the storm aftermath are out there right now stringing electric lines to get power to everyone.

Will you keep your big RV now that you are not going to be living in it full time?

No, we’ll sell it and get a smaller RV.
