Last week, after looking at the weather forecast, I decided to have friends over on Thursday. The weather was forecast to be cooler and mostly sunny
I decided it would be fun to cook on the grill. One side of my grill is a griddle and the other side is a grate.
I started with the Georgia shrimp in my freezer and based the vegetables and desserts on what was ripe. Here’s the dinner party menu.
Appetizer
Entree
Grilled marinated Georgia shrimp on skewers
Sides
Marinated fresh vegetables, cooked on griddle
Cool lime yogurt sauce for drizzling over vegetables
Caesar Salad
Dessert
Lavender honey macerated stone fruits, topped with vanilla honey flavored whipped cream
I wish I had taken a moment to take a picture of the table.

They are long time friends. I have been friends with the husband for over 20 years and I went to his wedding several years ago. His wife is a delightful lady. They hadn’t seen the RV and she was very excited to see it.
