On December 20 (Wednesday), the dealer called to let us know the truck was ready to be picked up. We took Nox for a walk and I snapped this picture of the RV with the loaner car.

The dealer fixed all the recall items, changed the transfer case fluid, and hopefully fixed the leak. We also asked them to wash the truck and vacuum it. The visit cost us around $650.
The service manager told us that three of the tires had problems. One is throwing a belt, one has worn tread, and it was unclear what the problem was with the third tire. Bruce didn’t want to get tires at the dealer, instead he wants to get them at a tire place. Ugh! The original junk tires RAM put on the truck just keep costing us money.
One the way home, we stopped at a small state park, Yulee Sugar Mill Ruins Historic State Park.
It is a small state park, with limited parking and a picnic pavilion on one side of the road. You have to cross the street to see the sugar mill ruins.

After walking around the ruins, we walked back to the truck. I noticed a large vine and got Bruce to stand next to it. Bruce is 5’5”, to give you scale.

We stopped at the grocery store, then headed home.

What a vine! I don’t think I’ve ever seen one so large. 😳

I had never seen a vine that large either.

When we picked the truck up, we realized it was 4 years to the day since we bought it and took it home!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
