It drizzled on us on and off as we packed up the RV on October 20 (Friday). Fortunately, it had stopped raining while we hitched up.
We headed out to I-77 south to Little Cedar Creek Campground in Ridgeway, South Carolina. This small town is just north of Columbia, South Carolina.
We drove through rain and fog to arrive during a break in the rain.

We were able to get set up during a break in the rain.
Once we were set up, Bruce borrowed an expression from Steve Wallace (YouTuber), “Time for step two,” as he poured a beer.
It rained during the night and we woke to a beautiful sunny day.
Well, that was a scenic trip through the Carolinas! It is really beautiful, and I enjoy a day like that, with light misty rain.

It was beautiful to see, but very nerve wracking when pulling 15 tons up and down mountains in the rain and fog!

I am sure it was–much easier for me to enjoy the trip via your photos!

I loved seeing the leaf colors and how beautiful it was. The fog was the scariest part of the trip since some people didn’t turn on their lights!

The fall color on some of the leaves was beautiful!

I think Nox had the right idea. Take a nap rather than drive!

Nox loves sleeping in the truck. She’ll wake up and look around and decide it is time to go back to sleep.

Sounds like me. It’s best that I not drive.
