Walking Around Ligonier, Indiana

September 7, 2023

Bruce drove to Ligonier, Indiana and parked the truck. We put the harness and leash onto Nox and let her walk around for a bit at the Pettit Park. She got tired quickly and we put her in the Nox backpack. The Pettit Park is a small well kept park next the fire station.

We started walking around Ligonier to see all the murals. We also saw some sculptures.

We walked down Main Street, which was had some lovely homes on it. On of the residents was coming out of her home and noticed Nox in her backpack. She thought Nox was just the cutest little thing. She suggested that we stop by and see the Jewish temple. It had been converted to a private home, but the owners aren’t allowed to modify the exterior. She mentioned that she got to see the interior and the stained glass windows were stunning. We thanked her for her advice and continued on our walk.

We walked to Triangle Park.

We walked back to the truck and buckled Nox in. We spent a little time figuring out where to go next. We decided to go to the Jennie Thompson Garden.

It was a lovely spot for sitting and reading.

While we were here, we got a call from the Riverstone service department, our RV was ready.

We made a quick stop at the toilets and drove to the factory. The next post will be about picking up the RV.

  1. Beautiful garden! Lovely murals! What a charming town. 😊

(Just curious, how do they pronounce the name of the town? There is a city I know of with the same spelling, but an odd pronunciation.)
