I thought you might enjoy seeing the view from the kitchen on the utilities side taken Sunday evening.

Sunday night, as Bruce was taking Nox for a walk, he called back into the RV to let me know there was a beautiful sunset. I sat on the steps of the RV and enjoyed it.

Monday morning (June 6), we walked to the Heart of the Desert. We walked past a pistachio grove.

We walked past a blooming agave plant.

As we continued our walk, I noticed some purple flowers blooming beside the road. The signs for the Heart of the Desert appeared.

We went inside the gift shop. Bruce enjoyed the free wine tasting. We both enjoyed the pistachio and candy tasting. We also enjoyed the oil and vinegar tasting. All these tastings encouraged us to purchase wine, pistachios, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar as they were delicious. The pistachios were some of the best we’ve had.
I did not take any pictures of the wine bar.

We walked back, with Bruce carrying the two bags of the items we purchased.

By the time we got back, my ankle was not happy with me and I was glad to raise it up and ice it.
I want to be out doing, but I need to consider my ankle for now.
Heart of the Desert has great pistachio caramel corn and their green chile flavored pistachios are truly addictive!

It was a good thing we were walking, otherwise we would have purchased a couple of 5 pound bags of pistachios! Maybe even a twenty pound bag!
