Westerly Creek Park

August 29, 2021

Today, we headed over to Westerly Creek Park in the Central Park neighborhood. It is about 4 miles from the Denver Meadows RV park. This park has mostly wide concrete paths that are in good shape. There are some ponds, as well as Westerly Creek.

We took Nox with us. She enjoyed sniffing everywhere and seeing other dogs. There were a lot of people walking dogs and Nox was happy to sniff them and to be sniffed.

The bicyclists were polite, saying on your left as they came up.

There are some dirt paths that lead to the water. We took several of them.

    1. It has been in the 90’s most days, but today it is in the 70’s. We haven’t been able to sell our house yet, so we are stuck until the house sells. Several of my friends have retired before me when I had expected to be retired before them.
      How is Max doing?

      1. House selling is always stressful but I’m sure it will work out well and with the virus flare-ups everywhere maybe it’s a good thing to be close to home even when your new home has wheels. Max is doing better than expected and has gotten a lot of his old sass back.
