Since I made lavender syrup a few days ago, I have been using it. I poured it over blueberries instead of sprinkling them with sugar. The flora note of the lavender was lovely with the blueberries.
Bruce makes 5 gallons of seltzer water at a time and keeps it in his kegerator. While we mostly drink the seltzer water plain, we also have various syrups to make Italian sodas. I decided to try making an Italian soda with the lavender syrup that I had made. It was very light and refreshing and unlike anything I had before.
Serves 1
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons of lavender syrup (or more depending on how sweet you like it)
- Seltzer water, 8 to 12 ounces
Tools:
Glass, spoon
Instructions
- Put the 2 tablespoons of lavender syrup into the glass.
- Fill the glass with the seltzer water and stir with the spoon.
Notes:
That sounds cool and refreshing.

This is so pretty, and I’m sure I will love it. I make lavender syrup most years, and it is great fizzed up!
