Downsizing (4) First Big Item Gone

December 15, 2019 A co-worker was interested in our wine fridge and came by with his wife today to pick it up. This is the first large item we’ve gotten rid of and all I can think is, we are really doing this! We still have the kegerator to get rid of at some point.

Downsizing (2)…Giving Away Books

I’m bring in books to the office so they can go to good homes. As the books leave my possession, I feel closer to the reality of the retirement RV dream happening.

December 4, 2019 So much won’t fit into the RV, so we’ve got to downsize. We have a nice size library of physical books that we will be letting go. Books are heavy and take up so much room. Bookcases are bulky and take up a lot of space as well.

Can We Live in 400 Square Feet?

Another concern we had about full-time RVing, was downsizing. We are currently living in 2,380 square foot house. I have a great kitchen, master suite, and a big back porch. Could we be happy in 400 square feet of living space?
