  4. I seem to recall seeing Japanese cucumbers on your photos. Is that right? If so, have you ever tried sunomono? It’s a vinegared treatment of Japanese cucumbers that is so light, fresh and refreshing! Super easy to make just remember to slice ultra thin on mandolin or equivalent.

    1. Yes, I did have some Japanese cucumbers. Now, sadly, they have gone to the Great Cucumber Trellis in the Sky.

      I have not tried sunomono. I’ll have to look it up. I do make refrigerator pickles.

I am a retired software solutions architect. I have been married to my husband, Bruce, for over forty years. We went full-time RVing for 3.5 years and saw much of the United States.
