Enjoying Our Time with Jeanne

Bruce and I arrived in Colorado on July 17 and left on July 22. Jeanne and Larry were kind enough to host us while we were in Colorado. I got to spend a good bit of time with my delightful friend Jeanne and her husband, Larry. Jeanne is also a fellow blogger, blogging recipes and her travels from A Jeanne in the Kitchen

Here’s some of the things we did:

We played games in the evening, Dominoes, Farkle, and two other games that I don’t remember the names of. One evening, we watched the movie, Zorro, while eating popcorn made by Larry.

I appreciate Jeanne hosting us, allow us to cook, bake, and play with together

      3. I’m in the admirer category, haven’t graduated to friend yet, LOL. We had both food blogs and Colorado in common (plus travel and birds), but my husband and I just sold our little place in Jefferson, outside of Denver.

      4. I blogged a lot more about food when I started blogging. WordPress showed me her blog and I started following her. She followed me back. We became friends while I lived in Colorado. I invited her to one of my Mardi Gras party and that started our friendship. When I went fulltime RVing, Jeanne and I always tried to get together when I was in Colorado. I was so happy she came out to see me in Muscle Shoals, AL. I greatly treasure our friendship.

I am a retired software solutions architect. I have been married to my husband, Bruce, for over forty years. We went full-time RVing for 3.5 years and saw much of the United States. After deciding to stop RVing, we bought a ranch house halfway up a hill on five acres. After Bruce and I talked about names for our five acres, we settled on Blackberry Homestead as a homage to the wild blackberries on the hill. We are working on creating our homestead.
