On June 17, we wanted to provide Jeanne, from ajeanneinthekitchen.com, and her husband, Larry, another Shoals food experience. Collectively, the four cities on the Tennessee River that come together are known as the Shoals (Muscle Shoals, Sheffield, Tuscumbia, and Florence). We picked the 360 Grille, the only rotating tower restaurant in Alabama. As the restaurant rotates, you can see wonderful views of the Tennessee River and the surrounding area.
Here is Jeanne’s take on our visit to the 360 Grille.

Lunch was yummy and a lot less expensive than supper. At supper, they ask you to dress up and the prices are much higher.

I think I would have gone for lunch too. The food is still great, and who wants to wear itchy dress clothes?!

I like the idea to eat lunch there! Less expensive, plus I don’t want to dress up! Years ago, St. Louis had a rotating restaurant on the riverfront. They just tore it down. I never ate there (that I remember), but I do recall going up to the restaurant just to look out. That was allowed.

It was a fun spot to eat and lunch is great and more affordable than dinner. We went there for our 40th wedding anniversary and we got there at just the right time to see a spectacular sunset over the Tennessee River.

Good to hear that the eats were tasty. Too often theme restaurants emphasize the views, activities, etc., instead of the food.

The food is very good there. Everything we’ve tried has been a delight. That said, we’ve only eaten there three times.
A tad overpriced, but with views to die for. Misquote of Gary Trudeau
