Before going to the Johnny Cash Museum, Larry, Jeanne, Bruce, and I decided to eat somewhere in Nashville. After seeing the Johnny Cash Museum, we walked around for a bit. We to try some of the Nashville Hot Fried Chicken and ended up at Hattie B’s, a very noisy and happening place.
Jeanne (ajeanneinthekitchen.com) wrote a great blog about Hattie B’s. (Once again, I am being lazy and letting Jeanne do all the work. She is a great food blogger about recipes and restaurants.)

We found a place to sit to rest our feet while Bruce and Larry ordered for us.
Those of you who follow my blog know I take a lot of pictures of Bruce’s back as he walks ahead of me. I am sure you can recognize him just from his back.

If you’ve just started following my blog and don’t recognize Bruce from his back, he is the short guy in the Jekyll Island T-shirt. Larry is the tall guy in the blue shirt just to the right of Bruce.
I am not so much into noisy and happening places now, 40 years ago, sure. Hattie B’s was too noisy for the now me. We couldn’t hear each other talk very well over the noise. It just goes to show I might need hearing aids. Sigh!
I can understand your discomfort with a loud restaurant.

Loud noise, as my mother would say, gets on my nerves. Turn that down!
