Bruce had been talking about cutting off the trees reaching for the power line before they became entangled in the power lines.
I wish I had taken a before picture. It doesn’t look that impressive just seeing the after picture.
On May 4, Bruce took his electric pole saw and cut several trees back to the top of the fence.
With that task accomplished, Bruce went to enjoy more destruction on Pine Tree One’s stump.
He didn’t do a lot of work this time. Bruce dragged the water hose to the stump pieces. He sprayed the bottom of the stump pieces to wash away the dirt.
Bruce is checking out the results.
We walked around the orchard and the blueberry ring. We found a few ripe blueberries!
One of the plum trees we planted, had burst into bloom.
I love this picture of the tractor with the sunset behind it.
We watched the rest of the sunset from the front yard.

When Bruce finishes with that stump you should frame it. Hang it on the wall of the shed.

Our power company will trim limbs if it threatens their power lines. Maybe yours will do it the next time? That is an impressive pile of cut branches so I think Bruce was good to tackle it when he did. Well done.

It wouldn’t hurt to ask if they would trim them. They wanted to spray poison on the fence line with the neighbor to the south side. I would not want poison sprayed next to the house.

Don’t blame you on the poison. I just know they aren’t arborists but you might be able to talk to them to make sure they don’t do a butcher job on your trees. 🤞🏼

Here they seem to spray poison on the plants under the wires.

Their mycelium network probably communicated to the tree that some plant in the network was trying to power its iPod, but you put an end to those plans.

Perspective makes the tractor look almost as big as your house! 🙂 The plum tree blossoms are beautiful!!!

I really worked at getting that tractor shoot before I lost the sunset. It does look almost as big as the house! 🙂 I was so surprised to see the plum tree blooming. It was covered in blooms.
