We’ve been so busy so much of the time lately, that going into town (eight miles away) to get groceries seems like a real chore. The local Foodland (half a mile away) is good for somethings, but they have a very limited selection of fresh produce.
I kept seeing ads for Misfits Market when I made a stop on social media and thought, “Why not?”
I’ve been really pleased with their selection of products. While the rescued produce might be small (blood oranges) or large (lemons), it has all been delicious.
The blood oranges were so good we ate two pounds in four days. These small oranges were sweet with a citrus flavor and a hint of raspberry flavor.
I enjoyed the variety of apples that weren’t something I could find locally.
The ripe bell peppers were large and delicious, too large for the grocery store.
We also liked the fish and meat.
I loved the radishes (sweet, crunchy and slightly spicy), cucumbers and turnip roots. Good radishes are one of my favorite vegetables.
This time, I’m trying their salads mixes.
If you want to give them a try, I’ve got a promotion link: https://www.misfitsmarket.com/?promo=COOKWME-UF1WSKXVTRWOJP

Now I’m hungry for radishes…..

With the tall beds, being lined with chicken wire, I hope the rascally rabbits will stay out!

Interesting. Do they deliver the food to you?

Yes, they do. Their packaging is recycled plastic bottles. They do a shipment to an area on the same day to reduce their carbon footprint. My shipment comes on Wednesday.
