On October 20th, Bruce spotted movement in the pasture behind our back pasture.
We walked over to our back fence, carrying Nox.
The donkey was very curious and so was Nox. I held Nox safely out of reach of the donkey, since the donkey wanted to sniff (and maybe nip) Nox.
The donkey hung around for a bit, then decided we were safe. It started to walk away.
I also got some pictures of the sheep grazing in the grass.

Awe. Super cute

🙂 They were beautiful to see. For some reason on seeing the black sheep, the nurseryman, “Bah, bah black sheep” ran through my mind.

I like donkeys. I wish I had one; used to love feeding dad’s donkey and horse. These are very picturable!

Donkeys are adorable! I love seeing the donkeys our neighbors have. The neighbors to the right of us have two donkeys with their small herd of cows.

They are, and such hardy creatures, not to mention, excellent watch donkeys!

I am guessing the neighbors are using the donkeys as watch donkeys. Apparently we do have coyotes in the area.
