On May 17, we got up and walked around some at the St. Peters’ 370 Lakeside Park in Missouri.

We then packed up the rig and headed out. We drove on Missouri 370 to I-70.
Once on I-70, we just needed to stay on I-70 until we reached Ellis, Kansas. At Ellis, the exit would take us to Ellis Riverside RV Park, which was 503 miles away.
We passed beautiful farms and stopped at various rest stops along the way. At each rest stop, we checked the bouncing tire and noticed it was loosing tread.
I took some pictures of the tire to get the tire information and called a tire shop in Hays, Kansas to see if they had the tire in stock.

We reached Hays, Kansas just as the sun was setting. Ellis is 14 miles from Hays.

We pulled into the Ellis Riverside Campground and selected a large pull through site. We pulled out our checklist and ran through it. The light lasted long enough for us to get into the site. We turned on all our outside lights to finish the set up.
This time, we unhitched the truck. We needed the truck separated to take the RV tire into the tire shop in Hays.

You’ve got grit, I’ll say that! Gorgeous sunset, and seeing a windmill for pumping water always makes me happy and “takes me home.”
