We got up on May 18 and once we got dressed and walked Nox, Bruce removed the rear camping side tire. It was the bouncing tire the man told us about on May 16. At each rest stop, when we checked the tire, it seemed worse.
Bruce put the tire in the back of the truck and we drove to the tire shop.
Bruce took out the tire and rolled it over to the tire shop office.

After dropping the tire off, we headed out for breakfast.
After breakfast, we stopped at Harbor Freight and Bruce purchased a long handled socket wrench to help with changing tires on the RV.
We continued on to the tire shop to pick up our new tire. We saw the new tire sitting outside and at first thought they hadn’t changed the tire.
Once in the office, we were told the tire was ready. Bruce paid for the tire.
Sure enough, it was a new tire leaning against the building. It had gotten dusty from being rolled in the parking lot.
Bruce loaded the tire into the truck bed and drove back to the RV.

After we got back to the RV, we decided to ride the miniature train before tackling the job of putting the tire back on. The train makes two loops. After the train ride, we watched a family enjoying the train.

Then it was time to change the tire. To keep Bruce cooler, I opened out the awnings while he changed the tire. I helped by supervising and handling Bruce nuts when needed.
The new long handled socket wrench made getting the right torque on the nuts so much easier. Bruce used the combo of his cordless drill and the socket wrench with the torque measure to secure the nuts.
Lots of work to keep it on the road. That has made my husband and I think about renting one when the time comes.

I have not seen a miniature train in years, but I always enjoyed riding one! I saw the track in one of your first pictures and wondered why the camp site was so close to a train! Now I know.
