Traveling to Pecan Grove RV Park Outside of Lake Village, Arkansas

April 18, 2024

We finished packing up the RV and left Vicksburg, Mississippi on April 1 (Monday) to head to Arkansas for the total eclipse of the sun.

We drove through some light rain in Louisiana.

We arrived during lunch time and had to wait for the office to open.

The lady at the office gave us our site number, so we walked over to take a look. We decided we didn’t care for that site, so we requested another one. (To close to an RV with barking dogs.)

We picked another site, pulled in and got set up.

For whatever reason, we managed to pick a site without much of a camping side. It was just stupid of us not to look at that. Most of the sites do have a reasonable space for the camping side and some sites have a lot of space.

We’ve stayed at Pecan Grove RV Park in the past and enjoyed our stay. Bruce loved looking out at Lake Chicot across Hwy 65 from his desk window.

We had another RV between us and the lake this time. (Once again, poor site selection on our part.)
