Bruce and the tech finished bleeding the brakes around 3:00 o’clock.
Bruce thanked the tech and wrote him a check for $586.
After the tech headed out, we drove to Columbia, SC to the Discount Tire Bruce called with our sad tire.
The Discount Tire employees were super helpful. They were professional and helpful. While we were sad to hand over $513 for the tire, balancing, taxes, and state disposal fee. (Bruce didn’t buy the insurance, reducing the cost.)

No fun at all! But at least it’s fixed!

It is a relief to have it all repaired. We’ll be heading out on Monday to southeast Georgia.

Every one was so helpful and understanding. I appreciate all the help from the campground in letting us stay and the help from MORryde. The tech was really helpful as well.

Wow, that tire really was worn!

When the brake pad broke free, we believe it jammed the wheel and the wheel wasn’t able to turn until the brake pad fell out. This caused the tire to drag and wear.
