This is a picture heavy post because I want to share the fun we had at the Tallahassee Automobile Museum in Florida.
The museum is not just an automobile museum. They also have a lot of sports memorabilia, soap box racers, engines of various sorts, motorcycles, boats, dolls, knives, Star Trek memorabilia, Star Wars memorabilia, and music instruments.
We headed up to the second floor first.

The Batman vehicles exhibit was also on the second floor, see my previous post about the Batmobiles.
The boats and most of the soap box racers were in the back, so the the lighting problem prevented me from getting good pictures.
We headed downstairs to see the rest of the exhibits, which will be my next post.
I had a red Karmann Ghia just like this one, as well as an earlier model gray with white roof. I loved them both–took a lot of trips in my little red one!

Apparently my father-in-law loved his. One of Bruce’s brothers totaled it and my father-in-law still had it repaired. I don’t recall what happened to it long term.

My brother used to restore old Karmann Ghias when he was into cars (when he was younger!). They are FUN to drive!
