After we walked around the cidery, Bruce asked me where I wanted to go. I pointed across the highway and said, “I want to go there.”
Bruce replied, “That’s easy enough. We can go on foot.”

We walked over to B. J. Reece Apple House. They had some covered picnic tables with information about bees and how they help with pollination of apples. The rocking chairs work well and are comfortable.

Inside, they had some apples, jellies, jams, syrup, pecans, peanuts, candies, and juice.

In the back section, which I am sure is filled with apples during apple season, they had a tractor.

We bought some apples, a variety called Elitecrisp. They are very tasty, not a flavorful as Honeycrisp.
I also got a jug of muscadine juice.

It seems a number of apples have “crisp” in the name now.

Crisp sounds so nice when talking about an apple.

I love fresh ciders–especially cherry! I also love that Farmall tractor!

They had several different fresh ciders. Some of the apple barns have fried apple pies and donuts! Maybe we’ll try some of them afterwards a hike.
