On August 13, I happened to catch the sunrise through the dew on the window.

I stepped out the back door to get a clearer picture. you can see a light fog in the background.

After the dew dried, I went to harvest the garden.
The okra is beautiful. I love the red okra pods against the red tint of the leaves.

I had no idea there were so many different colors of okra. https://www.foodandwine.com/what-is-okra-7564539
The heat is getting to the tomatoes, but the leaf legged bugs are worse. Hand picking them off is the recommended method of getting rid of them. Ha! They fly way so fast in their escape, catching them is almost impossible.

The tomato hornworms are numerous. Bruce and I go hunting them at night with the black light flashlight.
Have you ever gone down one of the tunnel water slides or seen someone go down one? You cross your arms, lean back, slide very fast down, and exploded out the other end. In the afternoon, that was how my digestive system behaved. While I was afraid to get to far from the bathroom, I was okay long enough to get a picture of the sunset.

Your photos are beautiful.

Read this to my friend; she commented that maybe you’d had sushi the same place she did! Same result, anyway –

🤔No sushi involved this time! I have had this experience after sushi before.
