    1. The Eastern forest are beautiful. It is worth the trip to see the leaves in the fall. Bruce and I lived near Huntsville, AL, which was fairly close to the the Smokey Mountain National Forest. We often went along the Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive for vacations.

I am a retired software solutions architect. I have been married to my husband, Bruce, for over forty years. We have a 12-pound dog, Nox, who we love dearly. She has been with us since 2009.
