This is a list of things that we need to do to prepare to live the retirement RV dream.

- Determine which RV to buy (done – narrowed down to these 3 models – Grand Design Momentum 397TH or 376TH and the Riverstone 39FKTH)
- Buy RV (searching)
- Buy RV accessories (That will be its own post.)
- Take class on pulling an RV
- Go camping in RV once we’ve bought it!
- Downsize
- Make a list of everything for Take, Store, and Dispose – (done)
- Downsize physical book library (In progress)
- Sell bookcases
- Sell Wine fridge (done)
- Sell Kegerator
- Downsize wardrobe (In progress)
- Donate blankets (done)
- Sell Boxster (done)

- Long term storage
- Determine pricing on long term storage
- Figure out long term storage solutions
- Consider a separate storage locker for things we may want while RVing
- Consider Pods or a storage solutions like Pods
- Figure out size of storage needed.
- Figure out tools to take and tools to store (done)
- Dispose of tools (In progress)
- Clean out filing cabinets
- Shred old documents (started)
- Put other docs in safe box
- Sell house
- Talk to realtor
- Put house on the market
- Talk to HR about retirement
- Get set up to keep insurance

That seems like a comprehensive list, and it shows progress made.

How will you use the RV garage area? (toys? storage? something else?)

We are taking Bruce’s motorcycle. If we get the Grand Design Momentum 397TH when the motorcycle is not in the garage, we will use it as our home office and we will use the door to the garage as a patio. If we get one of the other two models, it will just be a garage for Bruce’s motorcycle.
