Update from this morning, October 10. The prediction for high winds was wrong. . Overnight, we got an inch and quarter of rain. It is still raining today.

Thanks for wishing me safety and thinking of me.

My heart goes out to those impacted by the hurricane.

      2. Thank you and I’m happy to report that we haven’t so far. Most of what that has fallen has just been drizzle. It rained hard one time for about three minutes.

    1. Bruce was telling me a few days ago that he wouldn’t need to mow again for a while unless we got some rain. For some reason, I think he was seeing into the future! 😆

    1. Thanks. We didn’t even get any flooding at Blackberry Homestead. I didn’t hear that any of the local cities had any flooding. After loosing 6 trees to 2 storms, I was afraid we’d loose more.

    1. Yes, it sounds like a small stream or water fountain splashing. I’ll see if I can record a video of it with sound and post it. It might take a while before we get anymore rain.
