It has been 25 years since the terror attacks on our nation. It made such an impact on me and everyone around me. It feels surreal to know there are adults who weren’t alive when 9/11 happened. They don’t know the terror and how we pulled together as a nation. Many of these young people don’t know anything about the attacks on the USA on 9/11.

This has been a really somber day all over the net. It is heart warming to see that so many remember and care!

I lived 50 miles away on Long Island, and I smelled the city burning.

What a terrible experience. I can’t imagine how bad that was to smell the city burning from the fallen towers.
I lost two elderly relatives to the shock and stress. They died during the week after 9/ll. I don’t know how many people lost their grandparents and other elderly relatives afterwards due to the shock and stress.

I hope more states follow Florida’s example and include knowledge of this day and the rhetoric in the academics. Very important.
