More Tomatoes Ready for Harvesting

July 2, 2026

On June 19, I harvested more tomatoes. I found two of the San Marzano tomatoes ready to be harvested, along with more cherry tomatoes. One of the San Marzano tomatoes was attacked by fruit borers or some other type of pest.

The yellow patty pan squashes are prolific.

Walking around in the evening, we checked the fruit trees and looked at the last peach.

The sunset was pretty.

      1. I can almost see it, “Quick hide, Julia’s bringing another basket of cherry tomatoes and squash. Just how much more does she think we can eat?” 😆

    1. That’s what I thought, yuck. Unfortunately, several more tomatoes were ruined. The tomatoes lower to the ground seem to attract the worst pests. The upper section attracts the tomato hornworms. We’ve had so many of those lately.
