On June 17, the afternoon turned hot and we wanted to visit an inside attraction with air conditioning. Since Jeanne is a huge music fan, we suggested the Alabama Music Hall of Fame, a museum devoted to Alabama’s musicians.
Here is Jeanne’s post on the Alabama Music Hall of Fame.
Goin’ South – Part 8 – Continuing The Muscle Shoals Musical Tour
After our delicious lunch, with stunning views, Eating Our Way Through The South – Part 4 – Three Sixty Grille 360, we still had more things to see …

After the tour, we headed back to BlackBerry Homestead and visited with our friends until just before sunset. While we sat around and talked, the hummingbirds kept drinking from the feeder.
We said our goodbyes, wishing Jeanne and Larry could stay longer. They headed back to their hotel. In the morning, Jeanne and Larry started their drive back to Colorado, with some stops on the way.
The evening sky was lovely.

I’m glad Jeanne and Larry got to enjoy some of your lovely sunsets! 😊

We packed in so much while they visited, it feels very quiet.

I always liked the group Alabama so in this museum I could go and see them as Alabama in the Alabama Museum in Alabama. Roll on 18 wheeler.

My parents years ago in the 90’s met the Alabama group in their hometown. It was a small place and I forget the name but they met them. This sounds like a good visit!

We had a lot of fun with Jeanne and Larry.
The band Alabama’s hometown is Fort Payne, AL. The City Park has statues of the band members. We stopped at the park on one of our trips. We had gone the wrong way and needed to get turned around. Thank goodness no one was in the parking lot so we could the RV get turned around. Once turned around, we walked around the park. It is a pretty park.
