On June 2, Bruce decided to do more playing work with the tractor.
He moved dirt from the pile of dirt at the bottom of the driveway to the holes around the grassy knoll.

He also used the tractor’s backhoe to work at breaking apart the root ball of Pine Tree Three.

The hosta plant is blooming.

On June 3, we had a lovely sunset. Venus and Jupiter were beautiful, small pearls in the deepening blue sky. The fireflies drifted up from the ground, flashing as the evening grew darker and the stars shone as diamond lights above.

On June 4, I did some weeding in the front flower gardens while Bruce mowed.

In the evening, we watch the sunset and fireflies.

On June 5, Bruce chipped more branches from Pine Tree Three.

In the late afternoon, we dug up some potatoes.

The sunset was streaky bands of color. Venus and Jupiter are hanging in front of Gemini. Jupiter is to the right, Venus is at the bottom, and Pollux and Castor are in the upper right.

Your description of the evening was inspired!
