In the morning of April 30, Bruce continued his reign of destruction on Pine Tree One’s stump.
He needed to remove logs from around the stump to reach it from a different angle.

After watching Bruce for a bit, I went to check on the garden. I watered to soften up the clay layer, allowing seeds to sprout.

Here’s the bucket brigade. I planted pepper and eggplant seedlings in 5-gallon buckets on April 29.

On the way inside, I took a few pictures.

On the patio, I viewed my collection of semi-tropical plants.

After we got back from my pre-op appointment, Bruce did a lot more backhoe work on the stump with his red minion. The result was impressive!

What a hole! Oh wait, was Pine Tree One making a last-ditch effort to protect itself from Bruce and the red minion with a moat?
The plum trees have tiny leaves now.

The sunset was a western glow.

We sat on the front porch, watching the fireflies and the sunset.
A stump moat! Ha!
Bruce sure seems to be enjoying his new tractor. Yay!
