On April 27, Bruce and I planted another Japanese persimmon. The blue measuring wheel is next to the stick that will become a tree, if all goes well.

In the new garden bed, I finished putting the layer of Bama Dirt Pro Mix over the Lowe’s topsoil layer.
Bruce stopped by and dumped a layer of Lowe’s topsoil over the Bama Dirt, filling up the bed.

The bush peas, Easy Peasy, are making pea pods.

I ordered kinetic dragonfly sculpture on April 21 from Etsy. It t arrived a four days later. I put in it in the middle of the Irises. It looked great until we had a significant rainfall. The damp garden soil caused the base to lean over. The dragonfly still danced, but the base looked funny. On April 27, I moved the base to the yard.

In spite of what the pictures look like, the dragonfly base post is now straight.
We got a lot accomplished.
So much is going on at your house!

That is really rich looking soil. We find good buys on Amazon Prime for wind chimes and other things.

I really like Amazon Prime for most things. They do have some nice buys. I bought my sunflower birdbath bowl from them.

Nicely done. Love that kinetic dragonfly thing. I forget Etsy sometimes-nicely done. My default tends to be Wayfair. 😉

I was thrilled to find it. It is fun to see it dancing in the wind.
