In looking at the picture s from April 23, I have no idea what we did. I suspect Bruce mowed part of the yard. It had been too long to remember what I did without pictures.
Anyway, here are the pictures I took. I included the picture of slanted Bruce because I found it funny. I took pictures of the garden.
The sunset was beautiful.

Looks like a rat snake, maybe a western rat snake? The other photo looks like a Bruce snake. Often seen in tee shirts and cargo shorts.

😆 Bruce snake! We decided it was a rat snake. It zipped along and disappeared in the grass.

Whoa…catching a snake in the garden might make me take the afternoon off! Looks like a big guy.

He was between 4 and 5 feet long.

I was glad Bruce saw the snake and warned me. I would’ve seen it, jumped back, and squealed or screamed depending on how started I was.
